Perry Bush Custom Homes and Design Inc.
has become well known through participation in 19 Homearamas, showcasing
25 homes. Many of those homes were pre-sold, so the clients naturally
decided what style of home would be built. Many times this resulted
in a very contemporary home. But in fact, nearly 2/3 of the homes
created by Perry Bush are transitional or traditional styles.
Whatever the style, every client who chooses to build with Perry Bush
benefits from his unique talents and background. A graduate of the University
of Cincinnati and the University of North Carolina with a Masters Degree
in Fine Arts, Perry is an accomplished artist, sculptor and former college
art instructor. Home construction, however, runs in his blood. Perry's
father was a builder and his grandfather a carpenter. As a young boy,
Perry gained experience in all phases of the building process by working
with his father. Perry built his first house in Charlotte, North Carolina,
which was one of the first solar-heated homes ever created in the United
States. In 1977, this Anderson, Indiana native moved back to Cincinnati
and founded his home-building business.
